With over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Tara Frances brings a lifetime of creativity, craftsmanship and technical expertise to her Gold Coast atelier.

Originally trained at the prestigious Grafton Academy of Fashion Design in Dublin, Ireland, Tara developed a deep appreciation for beautiful fabrics, exceptional fit and the artistry of creating garments from the ground up.

Throughout her career, she has worked across bridal design, couture dressmaking and specialist alterations, refining the skills and techniques that now define her work.

For Tara, dressmaking has always been about more than creating something beautiful. It’s about understanding the woman wearing it, celebrating her individuality and bringing her vision to life through thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship.

Today, working from her private Gold Coast atelier, Tara specialises in bespoke bridal and occasion wear, original designs and expert bridal alterations, offering a personal, collaborative experience from the first consultation to the final fitting. To ensure every creation receives the attention it deserves, Tara accepts a limited number of bespoke commissions each year.
